We waited a long time for "The Stadium Tour" to roll through Detroit, and it finally did on Sunday (July 10). Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett brought their nostalgic rock music to Comerica Park, and it was like one big party. The tour was actually postponed for a few years due to the pandemic, so the crowd was absolutely ready for the fun. Many thought the show would on in 2021, but with Live Nation not taking any chances, they pushed the dates into 2022, which seemed like an eternity for many fans.

Temperatures were warm at Comerica Park, but at least there was no rain for the evening. It was a hot night, and the music made it even hotter, as the evening kicked off with the talented Joan Jett before launching into the rest of "The Stadium Tour" bill. The acts played all of the hits, and then some. Def Leppard even had a tour debut with their performance of "Promises." It was pretty cool to have a song played in Detroit that none of the other dates have been treated to yet.

Check out the full set list for Motley Crue and Def Leppard below! I've also included some video for the Detroit show and other stops on "The Stadium Tour." What was your favorite moment from the evening? Reach out to me at anne.erickson@bbgi.com and let me know your personal highlights!
