Where do you get the BEST hot dogs? Honestly, take me out to the ballpark. They may be expensive, but I LOVE a hotdog and a ballgame. GO TIGERS!

Hot Dog Day makes me think of Joey Chesnut, the most famous of competitive hot dog eaters. I wonder if he ever eats hot dogs at a normal pace.
National Lollipop Day
According to the National Confectioners Association, eating sugar from a stick likely dates to prehistoric man, who licked honey off the stick he used to scrape it from the beehive! Read more about this on The Nibble. Also, Lollipops were originally called "Lolly Pops." Here's some history: "One of the most important events in the development of the lollipop in the early twentieth century took place in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1908, when George Smith of the Bradley Smith Company came up with the name Lolly Pop, naming the hard-candy-on-a-stick confection after his favorite racehorse of the same name." - Courtesy of Checkiday.

By the way, Buzz Aldrin is selling the jacket he wore on the moon in 1969. It's expected to go for at least TWO MILLION DOLLARS.
