Ready for some delicious Fall fun? You’ll find it at the Rochester Cider Mill! In addition to their delicious cider and donuts, they have a bunch of other treats and activities for the family including a petting farm, and a giant straw pyramid you can climb!
Rochester Cider Mill History
The Barkham family established their mill in 1981 and has been producing cider for several generations in Rochester. The cider is never the same from week to week (except for its excellent flavor and taste). There are no preservatives and it is not pasteurized.
This piece of Rochester’s history uses the best Michigan ingredients for our donuts, caramel apples, and fudge. The caramel is handmade with Michigan sugar, butter, and molasses. Pies are baked fresh every day and the apple crisp is homemade. Guests can visit farm animals, climb a giant straw pyramid, take pictures in front of pumpkins and chrysanthemums, and enjoy sitting at picnic tables on beautiful autumn days.
Ever taste Butternut Squash and Apple soup or Apple Pear and Cranberry Crisp? They exist in all their delicious glory and you can find that recipe and more on their website. Check it out!
