It seems movies boasting the most significant budgets performed better at the box office. With budgets soaring and profits trying to keep pace, there seems to be a shortage of bizarre movies. While certain films always have their quirks, the outlandishly weird movies are scarcer to find.
The budgets for movies now are insane. Gladiator II worked with a budget of $310 million, Deadpool and Wolverine had over $200 million, and “Inside Out 2” spent $200 million.
