    Northland Center Mall anchored by Hudson’s department store opened in 1954. The mall closed in 2015, and $403 million redevelopments as large-scale housing with some retail are started last October.

    Southfield has easy access to I-696 Expressway, M-10 The Lodge Freeway, M-39 The Southfield Freeway and U.S. 24 Telegraph Road.
