Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’ Is The Must-See Netflix Event
Marvel‘s Netflix cash cow The Defenders has been released, and people are already binge watching the series, myself included.
Danny Rand is still a terrible Iron Fist, Jessica Jones is still a grumpy drunk, Luke Cage is still… Well… Luke Cage, and as for Matt Murdock and his buddies, they seem to be in disarray. And that’s just the beginning.

Sigourney Weaver‘s Alexandra has been identified as the main villain – at least in the trailers, and we can’t wait to see what she has to offer the series. What will also be interesting is how they intend to mesh each series, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
For a little cinematic lesson, each series has a different color grade. A color grade, for those who aren’t cinematically knowledgeable, is the tones for each series are different in terms of colors. The swatches for Luke Cage are really warm, versus Daredevil which has red tones, and Jessica Jones is less saturated with dark hues, a blue/purple.
The camera angles are also very different, with the most drastic also between Luke Cage and Daredevil.
As the series progresses, it all leads to the story of The Hand, and how the four come together to find out what The Hand wants with New York City.
The series is available now VIA Netflix, and if you need more convincing, it looks like it’s only 8 episodes judging by the IMDB.
