For those of you who were unaware, December 1st is national Christmas Light Day. If you are looking for some holiday cheer and love Christmas light shows, below is a list of a few places to go see spectacular Christmas light shows all over metro Detroit.

  • Detroit Zoo

    The Detroit Zoo Lights is one of the most popular light shows in Detroit. it has millions of LED lights illuminating trees, buildings and more than 280 sculptures throughout the front half of the Zoo. Come experience these 40 magical nights with the Detroit Zoo in winter as you take in the sights and sounds of the season. For guests of all ages. This event runs from November 20, 2021, to January 9, 2022, on select weeknights; Sundays, 5-9 p.m.; and Fridays and Saturdays, 5-10:30 p.m.

  • Wayne County Light Fest

    The Wayne County Lightfest will be open Wednesday – Sunday starting on Thursday, November 18 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM through December 31 (Closed December 25).
    The Lightfest entrance is located at 7651 N. Merriman Road in Westland, which is on Merriman Road between Ann Arbor Trail and Warren Avenue, 2 1/2 miles south of I-96.

     

  • Livonia Lights

    This is a light show you kids will talk about forever. The Northville Symphony of Lights (formerly Livonia Lights) at Northville Christian School in Northville! The 2021 Christmas light show has 150,000 lights that dance to the beat of the music and is dedicated to celebrating the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of Christ.
    Show Times:6-8:30 (show times every 20 min.)
    Dates of show: December 1-New Year’s Day.
    Location of the show: Northville Christian School at 41355 Six Mile Rd, Northville, MI 48168 in the back of the building.

  • Bostic Family Light Show

    The Bostic Family Light show is one that everyone of all ages will enjoy. If you live in or around the Garden City area please make sure you visit this amazing light show. You don’t want to miss it. for ticket information please visit www.bostickfamilylightshow.com.

     

  • Vineyard Avenue Light Show

    If you have a chance and can make it by, we welcome everyone to come by and enjoy the amazing light show. There’s a little something for everyone. Pack up the family or friends, grab some hot cocoa and snacks, take a drive by and enjoy the show.

     

  • Campus Martius Park

    The tree has already been lit, but that shouldn’t stop you from coming to see the rest of the amazing light displays Campus Martius has to offer.
