    The first settler to Clarkston was Linus Jacox in 1832.

  • Not Clark Griswold..

    In 1840 the Clark brothers- Jeremiah, Nelson and Milton- plated and named the town after themselves!

  • What came first?

    The first additions the Clarks made to Clarkston was planting apple orchards, building a fish hatchery, a general store and a post office.

  • How big?

    Clarkston is just one half mile square, the smallest city in Michigan. It is mostly upscale residential with awesome vintage houses.

  • What's going on?

    Clarkston’s annual “Taste of Clarkston” takes place in downtown Sunday September 25th and features over 50 restaurants, exhibitions and vendors!
