Beavis & Butt-Head: A Supercut of Every Appearance on ‘Letterman’
Beavis and Butt-Head have a long history with David Letterman. Want proof? Look no further than this video.
Letterman recently launched a new YouTube channel that features classic moments and other highlights from his time as a late-night talk show host. Throughout Late Show‘s run on CBS, Letterman featured Beavis and Butt-Head on the show. Sometimes, their appearance would be part of a comedy bit. Other times, the animated duo appeared on the show as guests.
The video below features Beavis and Butt-Head’s 12 appearances on the Late Show. Appropriately, the video’s description on YouTube simply reads, “This thing sucks.”
Perhaps not-so-coincidentally, this video was added to Letterman’s YouTube channel just as the new series Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head premiers on Paramount+ today (August 4.) The show is being billed as, “Beavis and Butt-Head are back and stupider than ever.”
Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head follows the Paramount+ release of Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe back in June.
6 Hilarious Beavis and Butt-Head Music Video Commentaries
Beavis and Butt-Head made headlines this past week when details were released on their new movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe.
Per Deadline, the new film is being dubbed “the dumbest space movie ever made.” The plot? “Beavis and Butt-Head are sentenced to Space Camp by a ‘creative’ judge in 1998. Their obsession with a docking simulator (huh huh) leads to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State.”
It is also noted, “Spoiler: They don’t score.”
All of this got us thinking about the always funny music video commentaries from the original run of Beavis and Butt-Head. Here are just six clips (and a fun bonus) that will surely make you LOL. If you don’t, you’re clearly a bunghole.
