Beavis & Butt-Head Get Hitched in Trailer for Season 2 of Reboot
Beavis and Butt-Head have a lot in store for fans as evident in the trailer for the second season of Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head. The biggest development? The two BFFs exchange vows and become husband and husband!
A preview of the season’s hijinx can be viewed below. As for their nuptials, Butt-Head can be heard saying at the end of the trailer, “This is the happiest day of my life.” As for the rest of the season, a press release from Paramount+ states, “Beavis and Butt-Head triumphantly return as two guys who like things that are cool and don’t like things that suck.”

Earlier this month, it was announced Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head was premiering on April 20 — aka: 4/20. The date has long been synonymous with cannabis enthusiasts. Appropriately, the teaser stated, “This 4/20, we’ve got another reason not to leave the couch.”

The Beavis and Butt-Head renaissance has brought other topics related to the show to the forefront. One topic, in particular, is how the titular (huh…) characters pretty much ended the career of Winger.
In an interview on the In the Trenches podcast in January', former Winger guitarist Reb Beach was asked whether the duo factored into the group disbanding. He said it did. Beach added that shortly after Stuart was introduced on the show and wearing a Winger shirt, ” … We had to cancel the tour because people wouldn’t be caught dead buying a ticket to a Winger show.”
Of course, there was a force before Beavis & Butt-Head that helped turn the tide against Winger: Metallica. The band famously featured Lars Ulrich in the video for “Nothing Else Matters” throwing darts at a Kip Winger poster. (The clip is also featured in the 1992 documentary A Year and A Half with Metallica.)
“Metallica didn’t help with showing in their biggest video they throw darts at a poster of Kip Winger,” said Beach. “They would show it at their live show, and my friend who went to see them said the entire arena laughed at that part of the video where Lars throws darts at Kip.”
