‘Bill & Ted 3’ Will Feature Jimi Hendrix
The Bill & Ted franchise has featured many notable historical figures, from Socrates to Abraham Lincoln, and in its third film, Jimi Hendrix will be among the historical figures featured.
U.K.’s Metro first shared images from the set of both Hendrix, played by DazMann Still, and an actor who appears to be dressed as Mozart, played by Daniel Door. Other musical figures reportedly appearing in the film are Louis Armstrong and Chinese bamboo flute creator Ling Lun, who are played by Jeremiah Craft and Sharon Gee, respectively.
The third Bill & Ted film, which is titled Bill & Ted Face the Music, is currently being filmed and is slated from release August 21, 2020. The premise of the film finds Bill and Ted as middle-aged dads who have yet to create the music that will make Wyld Stallyns the greatest band ever/makers of world peace. The duo receives a visit from someone from the future telling the two dads they better get to steppin’ on the music or else the world is screwed. This, of course, leads to new time-traveling fun.
