The Big Jim’s House Boot Check started when their friend Steve claimed that Detroit had turned into a 9-5 workplace – people aren’t up and at it like they used to be. We decided to prove him wrong and created “Boot check” – show us your work shoes (boots, tennis shoes, heels, clogs, whatever).
