Troy, Michigan is a fantastic, centrally located suburb with a ton to offer. The Historic Troy Village takes you back in time to the 1800s. Not only is the area (11 buildings plus land) a historical trip, it is also community focused offering yoga, walking programs and the Troy Traffic Jam Car Show (August 4th, 2024).
This is a city with a Master Plan. By 2040, the city wants a lot more development of Neighborhood Nodes. Neighborhood Nodes are communities that have a little bit of everything on hand: housing, shopping, community centers, etc.
Joel’s Notes
“The City of Tomorrow, Today!” There are so many great places to shop and eat. Some of my favorite spots are Oakland Mall, The Somerset Collection and my FAVORITE Store, The Lego Store!
You can buy almost any car you can think of at The Troy Motor Mall. It’s just what it sounds like- it’s a bunch of car dealerships of all kinds that are grouped together to make it easier to shop and compare. I tried to trade in the 94.7 WCSX Silverado, but I forgot the title!
