On Saturday, Oakland Mall hosted a Public Safety Day. There was fun for the whole family with an appearance by Paw Patrol, fire engines, food trucks and more. WCSX and all our sister stations, Bounce and WRIF were out rocking the Oakland Mall parking lot. The Navy, Army and Airforce were all involved and giving away cool toys for the kids. Emergency responders, EMS, Police and Fire were all there showing demos and displaying their cool vehicles. Food trucks were on hand to provide delicious refreshments. Our wonderful Stone Soup Project volunteers were there selling raffle tickets to win the 1974 Ford Bronco. The Rock N’ Ride was on display in all its glory. And…the Queen of Rock, Donielle Flynn was there too!
