Meet the USA Men’s Basketball Team players that will be representing the United States in the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.

The team is led by Gregg Popovich (San Antonio Spurs), and assistant coaches Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors), Lloyd Pierce, and Jay Wright (Villanova University) per NBA.

Kevin Durant makes history as the fourth male United States NBA player to make an Olympic basketball team three or more times. Preceding him are Carmelo Anthony with four (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016), and LeBron James (2004, 2008, 2012), and David Robinson (1988, 1992, 1996) each with three.

“I’m happy for the selected players and looking forward to having the opportunity to work with this wonderful group when practice gets underway on July 6 in Las Vegas,” Popovich said per NBA. “I’m excited to represent the United States in our quest to earn a gold medal in Tokyo.”

The Men’s Tokyo Olympic Basketball tournament kicks off today (July 25) with the medal round games taking place August 7 and 8.
