Side note: I haven’t talked about it much, but I am now the host of Over Easy. While I enjoy the show and spending Sunday morning with you, it has been rather emotional because of how I ended up being the host.
Scott Shepard
Scott Shepard was the host of Over Easy for several years now and you could tell that he loved it. He loved hearing from listeners and being a part of your Sunday morning tradition. His stomach was “growling like a big old bear” by the time he was heading to Angelo’s, but Scott never wanted the show to end. Our WCSX family was shocked and saddened when Scott’s family contacted us to tell us that he had suddenly passed last month. Scott had been a part of the WCSX family for more than 20 years. Everyone knew Scott’s smiling face. To Scott’s friends and family, again, our condolences.
I cannot replace Scott Shepard, but I can continue his legacy with the Over Easy show. I will do my best to honor Scott’s spirit, his love of radio, and Over Easy. Thank you for sharing your Sunday mornings with WCSX and being a part of our radio family. – Doni
