Photo Surfaces of Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd Together in Vancouver
There’s a very interesting update regarding those new AC/DC album rumors.
After reports surfaced via The Georgia Straight about Stevie Young and Phil Rudd being seen in downtown Vancouver, which is where AC/DC have recorded their three previous studio albums, this photo of Rudd and Brian Johnson together in Vancouver surfaces on social media.

This sighting is amazing, especially if it means Johnson is back fronting AC/DC. Johnson exited the band in 2016 due to issues with hearing loss, but since then, he has popped up sporadically performing live with the likes of Robert Plant and Paul Rodgers in May 2017, Muse during their Reading Festival set in August 2017 and with Mick Fleetwood in March 2018.
Since the passing of rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young in November 2017 and the retirement of bassist Cliff Williams, the thought around potentially a new AC/DC album was mixed at best. However, if Johnson and Rudd are potentially back in the band, there’s no doubt AC/DC’s extensive fan base will be on board.
