Plane Placed In Quarantine After Passengers Fall Ill
A plane that departed from Dubai was placed in quarantine after landing at JFK in New York, shortly after 9 a.m. this morning.
CNN is reporting the plane has around 500 passengers on board.
The illness may be due to the flu.
The Port Authority had previously said around 100 people were ill, however, the crew on board the plane have said the number is much lower.
At this time, ten people have been transported to a nearby hospital. Several other people on board have since been evaluated by medical professionals and released.

The Center for Disease Control has sent medical professionals to the scene. The patients will be evaluated inside the plane on the tarmac at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
At this time, the condition of the individuals on board the plane are not known.
