City of the Week: Plymouth 2023 Photo Gallery
This week we salute Plymouth and the Plymouth Ice Festival! The Plymouth Ice Festival began in 1984. It’s the oldest ice festival in Michigan. The City of the Week crew met Ted. Ted is one of the carvers and he’s been a part of the Plymouth Ice Festival since its very first year! Ted said that back in the beginning, many of the carvers were actually culinary students who learned to carve ice as part of their presentation skills for culinary arts.
