The Novi Home and Garden Show is going on this weekend at Suburban Collection Showplace. Let's GO! I headed out Friday evening with WCSX to check it out. It is beautiful! I didn't make it to every booth, but that's a tall order with 100's of exhibitors. I love this event. It's a great time to get inspired and start my Spring planning. If you're considering projects (big or small), I highly recommend checking them out. It's open now through Sunday, April 2nd. CLICK HERE for hours and more info. Plus rain or shine outside... it's nothing but sunnyside up inside of suburban Collection Showplace. :)
The People
I stopped and talked with a lot of folks, They were all super friendly and helpful. It was great to be there and see a ton of businesses on hand with their unique takes on all things home and garden. I've been out to the Suburban Collection Showplace to check this event out for years. After what we've all experienced since March 2020, it was really great to feel that sense of community and smell fresh mulch. It makes me feel like Spring is really here.
Check out my photo tour of some of my favorite things and places at the Novi Home and Garden Show! I especially loved meeting Julie from Meat The Crunch. She and her partner had a catering business pre-Covid. During the rough times, they decided to make one of their signature appetizers into a shelf-stable version: Salami Chips. They are delicious and I love these ladies and their attitude. They took a difficult situation and found a way to improvise and overcome.
