Every Favorite Beatles Song by State. What’s Michigan’s?

The Beatles are always a hot topic but with the the new song “Now and Then” they are super hot! Has this become your new favorite song? It’s very good, but all my favorite songs of the Beatles have been anything strange and wild. Songs like “Yellow Submarine” and “Eleanor Rigby”. But there is rarely a day that I won’t listen to any Beatles song. They all have their moments and I have taken many trips listening to several CDs (those round things that were before telepathic streaming robots) along the way. But what’s Michigan’s Favorite Beatles Song? And the other states too!

“Now and Then” is the first new song of the Beatles since 1995. According to TheVerve.com, it took advanced technology to create this song by John Lennon. The vocals had to be separated and when Paul, Ringo, and George had originally sat down in the 90s to work on it, the technology was not there. It wasn’t until Peter Jackson’s team working on Get Back were able to develop a technology that separated all the different components of a song.

So despite losing John and George, and having a recording on very old tech, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr were able to develop the new song. It’s compelling to listen to as we all struggle to deal with AI technology and what it means for artists both creatively and professionally. And this is an instance where the technology is pure gold. The song has an emotional impact that we really could use turning this time of unrest. I liked this quote from Paul pulled from CBSNEWS.com:

“All those memories came flooding back,” said McCartney. “My God, how lucky was I to have those men in my life? To still be working on Beatles music in 2023? Wow.”
