We're just a couple of days away from St. Patrick's Day, and perhaps you're looking to drink something a little more inventive than green beer. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Equal parts Irish cream, Licor 43 and green crème de menthe help create this smooth dessert shot.
The Irish Flag drink is a layered shooter cocktail featuring Irish Cream, green creme de menthe and Licor 43. This combination mimics the colors of the Irish flag - green, orange and white. This shot is, of course, a very fun choice for St. Patrick's Day.

If all else fails, nothing beats an Irish Coffee topped with a mound of whipped cream.
The Irish Coffee is a classic cocktail featuring coffee and Irish whiskey. There are two variations on it, one with just Irish whiskey and coffee. If you prefer it sweeter, go with the optional Irish cream or sugar. (The Irish cream gets my vote.) This is a quintessential after dinner drink.
