If there is one phrase to describe musician Peter Frampton in this stage of his life, it's "Never EVER Say Never." Of course, this phrase is the name of his most recent concert tour, as the veteran rocker took the stage locally for the first time in nearly five years.

The 73-year-old rock star brought his tour to The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor Casino and played to a sold-out crowd of over 5,000 fans. The last time Peter Frampton was in the local Detroit area was back in July 2019 when he played his then-known Farewell Tour at DTE Energy Music Theatre (now Pine Knob.)

At that time, Peter Frampton was battling a degenerative disease known as Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), which prohibited the Humble Pie rocker from taking the stage any further. However, thanks to advanced treatments for the disease and perseverance to get back to what Peter Frampton does best, playing for the audience he's missed and continues writing music for his ever-expanding discography.

If Peter Frampton wasn't busy enough as it is, the legendary guitarist found himself on the doorstep of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as one of its newest nominees for the class of 2024.

The concert was a fantastic show, and everyone here at WCSX hopes to see more of Peter Frampton as time passes.
