Sounds for Hounds, sponsored by locally owned Premier Pet Supply; was an opportunity for animal lovers and pet enthusiast alike to help find forever homes for a number friendly and furry dogs and cats inside the shelter.
The festivities at the Taylor Animal Shelter (located at 25555 Northline Road, Taylor, MI 48180) had something for everyone to enjoy. Activities included food truck vendors, bounce houses and face painting for the children in attendance. Also featured was plenty of raffle giveaways and of course a playlist of Detroit's best classic rock courtesy of 94.7 WCSX.
WCSX DJ and animal lover herself Megan Murphy, was on-site with the WCSX street team at the Taylor Animal Shelter to take part in all the tail wagging fun and help out with this community event.
The overall sentiments of the event were echoed by many in attendance that if just one animal can find its forever home after an event like this than it was an absolute success. The other sentiment was that the shelter is always looking for people in the community to home that special furry friend.
