Turkey Attacks Sports Car On Boston Street
Turkey attacks don’t get as much coverage as shark attacks or bear attacks. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t get reported on!
Recently, there have been lots of viral stories about shark attacks and even a story about a bear attack where a man punched a grizzly bear in the face! Unfortunately, these stories are very common. What’s not as common? Turkey attacks. Especially in downtown Boston!

You might remember that Jaws took place in Massachusetts. Now, there’s a different animal terrorizing The Bay State. People often get annoyed and roll their eyes at people driving sports cars, and it seems like we might not be alone. This turkey seems to be pretty fed up with them, too!
According to WBZ-TV, Alicia Mastroianni was heading to work at Boston’s Children’s Hospital when she discovered a note on her parked vehicle that was now covered in tons of scratches. Mastroianni tells WBZ-TV, “All sides of my car were messed up, like, completely scratched. I saw the note, I was like, ‘Oh gosh, someone hit my car.'”
Turns out, a neighbor was the one who left the note informing her of what had happened and the noun responsible was actually a turkey. The note also informed her that the whole thing was captured on video. After having a chance to see the video for herself, she couldn’t help but laugh. Now, she’s giving all of us the chance to laugh along with her after she shared the video on her TikTok. It quickly racked up more than 6.8 million views going viral on social media.

She captioned the video, “Moves to Boston…Gets Car Attacked by a Turkey…was not on my list of things to be prepared for in the city” and she also hilariously tagged several auto insurance companies. Smart idea! Good thing you have video, too, because they might be suspicious when you try to explain the damage was caused by a turkey! Commenters were quick to point out that it would make for a great Farmers Insurance ad where they talk about real-life cases.
The Massachusetts Environmental Police tell WBZ-TV that they believe the turkey might have seen its own reflection on the car thinking it was a rival and then acted aggressively. A good way to protect your car from turkeys (if that happens to be a fear or concern of yours) is to cover your car up using a tarp or cloth of some sort or if you see the turkey you should make a lot of noise to try to scare it away from the vehicle.
