Tattoo Vending Machine Is The Ultimate YOLO
For most individuals, when they get a tattoo the design is planned. It is very for people to blindly select a permanent piece of body art…until now!
Located in Dallas, Texas, Elm Street Tattoo has invented a tattoo machine which selects a tattoo for you. According to the Dallas Observer, “the store has stocked a coin-operated vending machine with images of tattoos.” If a person decides they want to test their artistic luck, all they have to do is pay $100. Once the payment is made, a design pops out and the customer is tattooed on site.
If you are like me and are afraid of the store’s sense of tattoo humor, they promised no harsh tattoos. All of the tattoos are serious designs and will not make someone question why you selected that piece of art.
One shop employee, who goes by the name of Boogie, told the Dallas Observer the tattoos are “all good ones – old-school snakes, devil heads.” He also noted that customers who are willing to test their luck are really receiving a deal. Boogie estimated that most of the stencils in the machine are worth “between $160 and $180…maybe $250.”
Those individuals who receive a random tattoo are served on a first come basis. If you stop by the shop and the artist is not available at the moment, you are allowed to make an appointment at a later date. However, customers are encouraged to keep their random designs! Happen to absolutely hate the design that you’re given? Not to worry, customers can pay an extra $20 to test their luck one more time.
Currently, no one has tested their luck on the machine. Elm Street Tattoo is planning on keeping the tattoo vending machine for as long as they can. So, if you’re in the area, make sure to test your luck. Even if you don’t like the design, at least it’ll make for a good story!
