We Have Bad News For Netflix Subscribers
Attention Netflix Users: you will soon have to pay more for your subscription — well, maybe.
Earlier today, the streaming service announced they are in the process of raising prices on two of their plans.
The good news is one of their plans is currently not subject to a rate increase, well at least not at this moment anyway!
How much will you have to pay to watch your favorite shows on Netflix?
It depends …
The rate hike currently only affects customers in the United States. Furthermore, if you are currently subscribed to the middle tier, your bill will increase from $9.99 to $10.99 per month. If you are subscribed to the premium membership, expect to pay $2 more per month — $13.99 instead of $11.99.
If you have the standard membership, you will not incur a greater fee for this subscription, rather it will still cost you $9.99 a month.
According to Mashable, Netflix will notify customers about the price increase on October 19.
Don’t say we didn’t tell you so …
