Screamin’ Scott

Looks like Screamin' Scott is going to be updating the WCSX Hotline Phone with this gem.

When you look up the definition of “Antique,” Cambridge University Dictionary defines it as ” Something made in an earlier period that is collected and considered to have value because it is beautiful, rare, old, or of high quality.”

If you asked many of his listeners, this same definition could be applied to 94.7 WCSX’s own Screamin’ Scott Randall. Nevertheless, regardless of how you define it, Antique’s and Screamin’ Scott could be found in the plenty as 94.7 WCSX took in the fresh spring air and a few fantastic finds at this year’s Michigan Antique Festival out in Davisburg.

The Michigan Antique Festival has been taking place since 2015. It has branded itself as “A must-visit destination for antique lovers and collectors, offering a unique blend of history, culture, and community.” As seen below, it’s no wonder thousands of treasure seekers of all ages flock to the Springfield Oaks County Park Grounds in search of that special something. With live music, dozens of food trucks, and even a car show, it’s a full family event that’s “An antique hunter’s paradise, promising something for every taste and interest.”

94.7 WCSX’s Antiquities Ascertainer Screamin’ Scott took to the rows and rows of more than 400 unique vendors at the Michigan Antique Festival. He may have found more than he bargained for, with enough valuables to fill the WCSX station van ten times over and perhaps request a cash advance on his next paycheck.

Fear not, for if you missed out on the good times and good finds at the Michigan Antique Festival, the next one is taking place this fall at the same location. That will give you plenty of time to finish your spring cleaning and work on filling that piggy bank up for all the discoveries you’ll be making when you go. Their social media will give you plenty of updates in case you forget.

A special thanks to the WCSX promo team, Screamin’ Scott himself, as well as thanks to Matthew Edens and the staff inside the Ellis Barn for helping out with the success of the event and planning.
