March has always been associated with music. And in March there are plenty of rockin’ Birthdays in the month to remember and celebrate. Now, while some are focused on their basketball brackets get destroyed, here is a quick reminder of rock and roll icons that are still with us and continue to hold the flag for rock music over the years.

On March 15th in 1955 Fats Domino recorded,” Ain’t that a Shame“. In 1958, this is the same day Elvis Presley hired Manager Colonel Tom Parker. In 2004 The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame welcomed hometown Michigan Hero Bob Seger, George Harrison, ZZ Top, Jackson Brown, Prince, and Traffic. In 1976 KISS release their album Destroyer, featuring “Detroit Rock City” and “Beth”.
