Lukas Yla, a Lithuanian marketing professional has been sending recruiters boxes of donuts that include his resume. The 25-year-old who is living in San Francisco says that he has already delivered 40 different boxes. Wondering how he manages to get the donut-resume boxes in their offices? Well, Lukas pretends to be a Postmates delivery person. His little flub has managed to let him in the doors of marketing agencies and tech firms within the area. We guess the old saying works, just act like you belong!
I hope you enjoyed the donuts ;)

Thrillist interviewed Yla who revealed that he has “had 10 interviews so far”. He still wants to deliver more donuts to companies that he “admires and loves”. The recruiters who have reached out to him after his donut delivery stated that they loved his creativity and was something they “didn’t expect, fun, and out of the box.”
Since the competition in tech and marketing professions is high, Yla wanted to stand out from the crowd. He went on to tell Thrillist that he was “looking for the most direct way to reach decision makers at the companies.” Since his resume would not stand out if he were to send in it by e-mail, pretending to be a PostMates delivery person was his next best bet.
Kuddos Kla, you definitely deserve every job offer you receive from this level of dedication!
