Detroit Coronavirus Information

On Monday, Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a order requiring a two-week closure for all Michigan gymnasiums, libraries, indoor sports facilities, spas, recreations centers, and theaters.

The rules cover most indoor areas where people congregate, but excludes grocery stores, markets, convenience stores, pharmacies,
drug stores, and food pantries

Detroit’s three casinos close at 5 p.m. Monday.

The order is the latest step to stop the spread of COVID-19 and follows similar moves made by the governors of Ohio, Illinois, and New York
