FEMA Extending Deadline for Michigan Storm and Flood Relief
FEMA is extending the deadline for assistance for those impacted by the June 25 and 26 storms and flooding.
Impacted residents may now register for assistance until Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021. The assistance is for residents in Wayne and Washtenaw counties.
FEMA aid may be used for essential home repairs, rent, personal property losses and other damage that insurance won’t cover.
To register, go through FEMA online at DisasterAssistance.gov, use the mobile app or dial by phone at 800- 621-3362 (TTY: 800-462-7585). The toll-free numbers are accessable from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET seven days a week.
