Detroit Lions CB Jeff Okudah Out for 2021 Season Due to Ruptured Achilles
Detroit Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah, one of the team’s big hopefuls, has ruptured an Achilles tendon and won’t be playing this season.
Okudah was injured during Sunday’s (Sept. 12) game against the San Francisco 49ers early in the fourth quarter.
He was the 2020 No. 3 overall pick.
Okudah took to Twitter Monday (Sept. 12) confirming the news and saying that his “faith in God’s plan is unwavering.”
