Of course, Michigan has plenty of good schools, including my alma mater, Michigan State University. On U.S. News & World Report’s new list, MSU was the next highest scoring Michigan school at No. 108 in the world, followed by Michigan Technological University at No. 760.
Some Michigan schools that were outside the top 1000 on the list include Western Michigan University at No. 1211 and Central Michigan University at No. 1306. The report ranked 1,849 universities.
