Lions QB Jared Goff Put on Reserve/COVID-19 List
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is has been put on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
He was placed on the list Monday (Dec. 20), in addition to offensive tackle Matt Nelson.
The Lions also announced they will activate running back Jamaal Williams and cornerback Mark Gilbert from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
No word yet on whether Goff will be at the Lions’ game this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. That said, the NFL’s new COVID-19 protocols allow fully vaccinated players to “test out” of protocols and return from quarantine on a quicker timeline.
