Outdoor Roller Skating Returning to Detroit at Monroe Street Midway
The Monroe Street Midway will open for a second summer beginning May 27. The Midway will offer an open-air roller rink from southwest Detroit’s RollerCade.
The Rocket Mortgage Sports Zone will feature three color-drenched basketball courts, live music, food trucks and a mini-golf course, among others.
Hours for the midway will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It will be closed Monday and Tuesday, except for Memorial Day and Labor Day. The season will close on Sept. 5.
