What Are the Detroit Lions’ Playoff Odds? – Brad Berreman of SideLion Report joins Anne Erickson

The Detroit Lions are 7-7, and hope is alive for a surprise playoff appearance. All of this after starting the season 1-6. It’s a Cinderella story for the history books.

So, after Sunday’s (Dec. 18) win against the New York Jets, what are the Lions’ chances of snagging a playoff spot?

Brad Berreman of SideLion Report joins Anne Erickson on the WRIF’s “The Squad” podcast this week to talk about playoyff odds and much more. As Berreman reports, according to FiveThirtyEight.com, the Lions currently have a 42 percent chance to make the playoffs. That’s huge. Winning all three of our remaining games would result in a 97% chance to make the playoffs. Check out their model here.
