NFL Playoff Schedule 2024: Dates, How to Watch & More
The Detroit Lions just beat the Minnesota Vikings, 30-20. While any win is sweet, what’s not so sweet was all the injuries. Notably, Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta was carted off with knee injury and was ruled out for the rest of the game. I don’t want to second guess the coaching staff, but I wish the Lions had rested their starters. I mean, in order for us to make it to the No. 2 seed, both the Cowboys and Eagles will have to lose today. The Cowboys are playing the Commanders, so I don’t see that happening. Besides, I’d rather be the No. 3 seed and play Green Bay or Los Angeles and avoid some of the other options. Regardless, now that the regular season is wrapping up, here’s the NFL Playoff schedule for 2024.
2024 NFL Playoff Schedule:
The 2023-24 NFL Playoffs begin with Wild Card Weekend on Saturday, January 13, and Detroit gets a home game. I’m so excited. It’s going to be absolutely explosive in Detroit next weekend. I’m hoping we host Green Bay. I don’t want to see the Lions’ achievements get overshadowed in a “Matthew Stafford is back in town” story. The schedule features two games on Saturday, three on Sunday and one on Monday. Find dates below.
Wild Card Weekend: Saturday, January 13th, Sunday, January 14th and Monday, January 15th
Divisional Round: Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st
Conference Championships: Sunday, January 28th
Super Bowl 58: Sunday, February 11th
Wild Card Weekend Schedule for 2024:
Saturday, January 13th:
First Wild Card Weekend Game 1 (NBC and Peacock)
Second Wild Card Weekend Game 2 (Streaming exclusively on Peacock – I hope it’s not the Lions game)
Sunday January 14th:
First Wild Card Weekend Game 3 (TBD)
Second Wild Card Weekend Game 4 (TBD)
Third Wild Card Weekend Game 5 (TBD)
Monday, January 15th:
Final Wild Card Weekend Game 6 (ESPN, ABC)
When is Super Bowl 58?
The 2023-24 NFL season will wrap up with Super Bowl LVIII. That game is set for Sunday, Feb. 11, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hear Las Vegas is lovely this time of year, Lions fans. Reach out to me on socials here.
