Detroit Lion T.J. Hockenson Says Farewell to Detroit in Heartfelt Post
I’m just going to lay it out there. I think it was a critical error for the Detroit Lions to trade tight end T.J. Hockenson to the Minnesota Vikings. Just, a wrong move. There. I said it.
Regardless, shortly after the Lions traded Hockenson to the Vikings, the player shared a passionate post on Instagram, thanking Detroit for being home and the players and coaches he has befriended.
“Detroit, I can’t tell you how appreciative I am to this city and fan base for accepting me and my family from the start,” Hockenson said. “All the teammates and coaches that I’ve been w/ here have helped me every step of the way.”
