Aaron Rodgers Had 1-Word Message for Aidan Hutchinson Following Interception
Aaron Rodgers isn’t a happy camper right now. The legendary quarterback threw three interceptions against the Detroit Lions on Sunday (Nov. 6). In the end, the Packers lost to the Lions, 15-9, at Ford Field.
After the game, Lions rookie and former Wolverine Aidan Hutchinson dished on what Rodgers said to him following one of his interceptions.
Rodgers apparently said, “freebie.” Honestly, for such a celebrated quarterback to say that to a rookie looks like very poor sportsmanship, in my opinion.
Hutchinson discussed the exchange after the game, as (via ESPN’s Eric Woodyard) shared on social media, “Aidan Hutchinson said Aaron Rodgers trash-talked him after his 1st career INT today. ‘Aaron was talking some sh** to me after saying he gave me a ‘freebie’ and I was like, “hey, freebie or not, I’ll take it,”‘ Hutchinson told ESPN while laughing.” I love Hutchinson’s response.
