Michigan Kid Unbelievably Gets Stuck in Arcade Machine
Have you ever found something really, really unexpected in an arcade machine? Like, an actual human being? That’s never happened to me, but that was the reality for a Michigan family who was just out having some fun at a local Buffalo Wild Wings.
First of all, I do want to say that, thankfully, the kid who was stuck in the arcade machine is perfectly fine and healthy. That makes this story cute, not tragic, thankfully. Here’s what happened.
A Midland family was at a local Buffalo Wild Wings last weekend, when they noticed their 2-year-old son, Dominic, had wandered off. Their son somehow squeezed himself into an arcade claw machine, wanting to get a free teddy bear, while his father was busy paying the family’s bill. Hey, I don’t blame the kid. I have often really wanted a stuffed animal from one of those claw machines, because I love stuffed animals, but I’ve never won, to this day. Reportedly, the kid got into the game via a small hole.
According to Abc.12.com, the family and staff called 911 to ask for emergency assistance from the Midland Fire Department.
According to Abc12.com, Midland firefighters went on to take off the top of the claw machine to rescue Dominic. In the end, he got what he wanted, as the restaurant staff gave him and his brother stuffed animals. Now, that’s one way to get some of those teddy bears. Also, according to Abc12.com, Dominic’s mom, Wrae Bacon, is a nurse and was actually working that day. Moreover, Devon sent her a Snapchat message about the whole ordeal. Can you imagine getting that kind of Snapchat message? “Hey, your son is stuck in an arcade game.” It sounds like everyone took care of this situation in the best possible way, and that’s a great thing.
