Sonic Drive In Will Start Serving Up Groovy Fries In May
Underway in May, Sonic Drive-In will soon introduce French fry fans everywhere to Groovy Fries, a hot, crisp, and perfectly salted fry. Sonic’s update to its fries is the first in almost ten years.
What Are New Groovy Fries?
Groovy Fries have a crispy exterior to lock in heat and provide a crisp bite on the outside while soft and fluffy on the inside. They are also made with grooves for perfect dipping. Also, Sonic will introduce new Groovy Sauce at SONIC locations nationwide by mid-May, and Sonic says more fun and surprises are coming in the months ahead.
What a great combination: Groovy Fries and Groovy sauce. It tastes like creamy ranch and herbs combined with the mild spice of Sriracha. Groovy Sauce can be requested for free with every Groovy Fry order.

If You Missed The Sonic Blackout Slushy Drink, There’s Still Time
The Sonic Blackout Slush Float Drink is still out of this world! It arrived just days ahead of the total solar eclipse on April 8.
The Limited Time Sonic Blackout Slush Float includes cotton candy and dragon fruit flavors. According to Sonic, the all-black slush represents the temporary darkness of the solar eclipse. The drink is topped with white soft serve and blue and purple galaxy-themed sprinkles. Sonic Slush fans are going to enjoy an “out-of-this-galaxy experience.” And it’s just in time for the extremely rare total solar eclipse.
Sonic fans of the Blackout Slushy Drink can still order the new float nationwide at participating locations until May 5, 2024.
