”I envisioned myself in Rochester missing groups like The Who and Hendrix and people like that, because I didn’t have the ticket or the money. And I used to just go hang out to hear these groups, knowing full well I’d never get in to see them, but I used to just lean against the backstage door just to pick up as much of the music as I could before I was tossed by the security guards. That’s what I envision that song as being. That’s kind of the spark of how it came together.”
