Volunteers Needed for the ‘Foot Float’ in the Ferndale Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day is almost here, and that means to expect some fantastic parades throughout Michigan.
The Michigan Fallen Foot Float needs volunteers for the Ferndale Memorial Day parade.
The annual “Foot Float” honors more than 200 men and women soldiers with ties in Michigan who died in the Iraq or Afghanistan conflict since 2001. They need volunteers to carry posers, banners and flags and walk in the Memorial Day Ferndale parade. The time you’ll be needed is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., approximately, on Memorial Day.
For more information and to volunteer, the Michigan Fallen Foot committee phone number is 248-733-4440.
