If you're a boxing fan, then make note that boxing legend Mike Tyson is coming to Michigan this weekend.

Tyson will be in the Mitten to help celebrate a new LIV Cannabis opening.

The boxing great will be at Common Citizen retail partner LIV Cannabis: Westland on Sunday (Nov. 12) at 1:30 p.m. What's more, LIV Cannabis Co. will mark the city's first recreational cannabis dispensary. LIV Cannabis: Westland is located at 37655 Ford Road in Westland.

Beginning Friday (Nov. 10) the first 120 customers to buy a $60 Tyson 2.0 Knockout Bundle at LIV Cannabis: Westland will receive a VIP wristband. That will score them a meet and greet with Tyson on Sunday. Furthermore, the Tyson Bundle packs two 3.5-gram flower packets, two 1-gram distillate cartridges and two 200-mg Mike Bites packages. It's for sale through Nov. 12 at all Michigan LIV Cannabis stores, Pure Lapeer and Xplore Cannabis Co. in Lapeer. "Tyson 2.0, Tyson’s California-based cannabis line under parent company Carma HoldCo, has an existing cultivation partnership with Common Citizen, which grows Tyson's cannabis at a state-of-the-art hybrid greenhouse in Marshall, Michigan," LIV Cannabis says in a statement. Also, Tyson 2.0 products are available to purchase across Michigan and in all Common Citizen retail partner locations.

Common Citizen, according to a release, is a privately owned and operated company, "focusing on cannabis production, cultivation, processing, retail and wholesale distribution for both the medical and adult market in Michigan and across the United States. Launched in Detroit in 2018, the Common Citizen brand takes a deliberate, people-first approach to its business strategy — from production to retail." Find out more about them at Commoncitizen.com. Moreover, Tyson 2.0, a Carma HoldCo brand, is a premier cannabis company formed with Tyson. "The company's mission is to produce innovative, high-quality cannabis products known for purity, precision and wide accessibility. Providing consumers an outstanding selection of products, Tyson 2.0 is an extraordinary balance of premium and affordable, full-spectrum cannabis flower, concentrates and consumables available at retailers nationwide," according to a statement.

Michigan has some great musicians, so it should be no surprise that the state has also served as the backdrop for a range of awesome music videos. From Bob Seger to Eminem, many artists that hail from the Mitten have shown of their Michigan pride by filming music videos in this scenic state.

One music video shot in Michigan that's near and dear to my heart is P.O.D.'s "This Goes Out to You." The video was filmed in Lansing, Michigan, and it uses live footage from the band's 2015 performance at Common Ground Music Festival alongside Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven and All That Remains. I was in the crowd and photo pit but don't see myself in the video. I did interview the band before the show, though, so I have good memories from that night overall. I think the video turned out great, too, and really captures the band's energy live.

On the more classic side of things, Bob Seger shot the music video for "Detroit Made," well, in Detroit. Would you expect anything less? The video was shot at Detroit's Woodward Dream Cruise, the city's annual hot rod parade, and features footage of classic rides. It's a really cool video.

Of course, many other famous musicians have shot their music videos in Michigan. Read on for a list of 15 in a variety of genres, from rock to hip-hop to country. You might be surprised by some of these, and it's certainly fun to watch the videos and recognize familiar places in them.

P.O.D. filmed their music video for "This Goes Out to You" in Lansing, Michigan.
