Little Know Fact About Froot Loops Cereal
Kellogg’s invented Froot Loops to create a bootleg version of the highly successful Cheerios cereal made by their competitor, General Mills. So OK’s Cereal was born. The cereal failed so badly with the public. With the failure came the idea for Froot Loops.
Froot Loops debuted in 1963 with just red, orange, and yellow loops. Blue and the color green came later. One note to add if you didn’t know. Froot Loops are all the same flavor. Or what I like to call them, naked Cheerios.
