These Companies Are Hiring During the Coronavirus Crisis
Grocery stores and pizza places are seeing a surge in demand due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and they’re looking to hire new employees to help with the increase in business.
Kroger recently announced they’re looking to hire 400-500 employees across Michigan in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Find current openings at jobs.kroger.com.
Walmart and Sam’s Club are shooting to hire more than 150,000 new employees nationwide. The company says that the roles will be “temporary at first,” but they “expect many to convert to permanent roles over time,” according to a statement. Walmart and Sam’s Club will also temporarily reduce their usual two-week application cycle to 24 hours. Find open jobs at careers.walmart.com.

CVS is looking to fill 50,000 positions nationwide, including “store associates, home delivery drivers, distribution center employees and member/customer service professionals,” according to a statement. Find job openings at jobs.cvshealth.com.
