When Will Fall Colors Be at a Peak in Metro Detroit?
It’s officially September, and that means the leaves are able to changes colors to radiant browns, oranges and reds.
Each year, SmokyMountains.com publishes an interactive fall foliage map, which shoots to figure out when autumn colors will be at their peak in the U.S.
SmokyMountains.com reports that the scenic Upper Peninsula and northern tip of the Lower Peninsula are likely to reach a partial peak around Sept. 14 and peak colors on Sept. 28.
The Detroit area is likely to patch fall colors on Sept. 28, reach partial fall colors on Oct. 5, near peak on Oct. 12 and, finally, peak colors on Oct. 19.
