Here’s How to Volunteer for the Rocket Mortgage Classic – And What You Get
The Rocket Mortgage Classic, Detroit’s PGA Tour event, is looking for volunteers for the 2022 tournament, set for July 26-31 at the Detroit Golf Club.
Interested individuals may register for limited available positions at RocketMortgageClassic.com by clicking “Tournament Info” and selecting “Volunteer.”
The event is looking for more than 1,500 volunteers to help with admissions, guest services, gallery management and shot tracking.
“Rocket Mortgage Classic volunteers are the backbone of what makes our event such a success,” Jason Langwell, executive director of the Rocket Mortgage Classic, said in a statement. “The duties they perform are critical to making the tournament run smoothly, and also provide significant support toward our Changing the Course initiative that aims to bridge the digital divide in Detroit.”
To volunteer, it costs $75 for a package, but that includes a Rocket Mortgage Classic golf shirt and hat, tournament access for the full week, parking, a daily grounds tickets for guests, complimentary food and beverage during shifts and an invite to the volunteer appreciation party. Proceeds go to the tournament charities.
