The new study comes from MyDatingAdvisor.com, which states, “Are you a single man looking for the perfect city to call home? The United States is full of cities that are great for single men. However, there’s something for everyone, from vibrant urban centers to small mountain towns.” MyDatingAdvisor.com adds that, “Whether you’re looking for exciting nightlife or a laid-back atmosphere, these cities offer plenty. We’ve rounded up the best cities for single men in the USA and analyzed each based on population size, job opportunities, the dating scene, and overall quality of life.”

First, let’s reveal the No. 1 best city for single men in America. According to the report, that’s Baltimore, Maryland. Why? MyDatingAdvisor.com calls it the “perfect city” for single men who want an “exciting place to call home.” They also bring up the area’s “vibrant downtown and picturesque waterfront,” with lots of things to do. “From historic buildings dating back to the 1700s to international cuisine, Baltimore has something for everyone. As a result, the job market in Baltimore is robust,” they add.

Detroit is the No. 7 best city for single men in America, according to MyDatingAdvisor.com. Of the city, the outlet says, “This metropolis has something for everyone from technology and business to finance and media industries! A bonus?
